This opportunity is part time. The work is on an as-needed basis; as the frequency of client calls varies from week to week and during a wide range of hours including holidays, evenings, and weekends. This opportunity is perfect for those with a fully open, self-paced, flexible schedule such as someone who works or does their schooling online and remotely, a homemaker reentering the workforce and retirees. Full availability is best, but hoping you, at least, have solid blocks of time and a willingness to prioritize this work in your schedule.

You will use our mobile scheduling app to set and maintain your availability. Jobs will be assigned to you based on your provided availability.

We pay our certified technicians per job project between $30-$40 per hour plus reimbursement for mileage & supplies. You must have reliable transportation as you will likely treat families in their home.

Additional details: You will be paid at our Apprentice Level training pay of $18 per hour before becoming certified, which may last up to approximately 2 weeks.

Qualifications

• You are knowledgeable about removing head lice. You have seen and can describe nits (lice eggs).
• We provide paid training on our copyrighted treatment protocol, proven to be very successful.
• Must have a metal lice comb for treatments - (You can purchase through our vendor for $8.99).
• Have olive oil available for the job - (Average cost is $3.00 per job).
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be proficient in English.
• We’re looking for people who are pleasant, articulate, patient, confident who enjoy helping people solve a problem. You will work with moms, dads or caretakers. The mother or father or care providers will be looking to you as a professional personal assistant to help with this problem.
• This work requires a certain amount of physical strain similar to that of a hairstylist.
• Successful candidates tend to have good experience working with hair or in the medical field.
• LiceDoctors is a drug and alcohol free working environment, and employment may be contingent upon passing a drug screening.

• Experience with part time or gig economy jobs (for example on call, pet walker, fitness instructor, mobile groomer, door to door sales, tutor, trainer, fitness instructor, yoga, pet sitter, pet walker, mobile groomer, exterminator, scientist, entomologist, travel agent, chauffeur, delivery driver, taxi driver, Uber, Lyft, musician, artist, author, actor, food delivery such as DoorDash, GrubHub)
• As a Domestic Engineer (stay at home parent, home school, housekeeping)
• With children (Teacher, teacher aide, school aide, Pre-school, childcare, babysitter, au pair)
• In the beauty/hair/spa industry (cosmetics, hairdresser, hair stylist, cosmetologist, barber, colorist, beautician, manicurist/pedicurist, esthetician, braider, salon attendant)
• In healthcare (nurse, school nurse, visiting nurse, HHA, CNA, EMT, PRN, phlebotomist, CMA, RN, CHHA, LPN, Homecare, Medical Lab Tech, Care Coordinator, health clinician, physician assistant, health practitioner, massage/occupational/physical therapist)
